Company is planning to migrate our entire SAP Landscape to new servers in a new location.
Our current SAP landscape is maintained in a separate Windows domain from the corporate domian
Our infrastructure dept wants to consolidate the SAP domain into a single enterprise wide company domain.; The question is exactly what are the pros and cons of having a separate SAP Windows Domain, as opposed to having a single enterprise wide domain for both company and SAP systems?
Some of the things we are concerned about the following:
- LDAP
- Single Sign On
- Central User Administration (CUA)
- Network Security features
- x509 Certificates
