We are looking for some few feature compatibility in CR 2011, not sure if it works.
Requirement :
1) For few standard reports we have custom jsp/java page, we need to pass parameter values to CR 2011 to fetch the data will it be possible
2) For Adhoc reports, we have custom jsp/ javapages , wherein user is given option to select filters , data, all list of values, formattng, (values are static)
these values are captured and stored in middle layer (internally) and then submitted to Reporting (actuate) as template format.
these templates (with all the selected values) is executed as query in database level and data is generated an shown in reporting.
3) Will all these features be possible in CR 2011 , do we also need to some SDK here ?
Would really appreciate if you can share your thoughts and inputs on this . It would be really really helpful.
