Scheduling for Re-Order Point Planning for in-House Production

All,

We are deciding to go with Re-Order Point with External requirements for In-house produced materials, especially the semi finished products. We will run Lead Time Scheduling. 

I have a questions,

- Will re-order point planning for in-house production follow Forward Scheduling ALWAYS or will it follow as per OPU5 ( In external procurement it follows forward scheduling, was wonder how it will react to for in-house production )
