SQL Authentication Credential being stored on reports

Firstly, let me say, I am no Crystal report expert and I solely work from a SQL DBA point of view.

We have users who run reports via Crystal Reports and connect using SQL Authentication. However, we are seeing a high number of lockouts on the SQL account and we think it is due to how Crystal Reports is storing details.

For example, if user1 ran a report and then 30 minutes later, user2 came along and ran a report, not sure if the same one or not, they are prompted for user details. Now, we think the user is ignoring this and clicking OK and causing the SQL account for USER1 to get locked out.

Is there any way of preventing this is the CMC Database Configuration?
