I am trying to use the US Eliminations together with the Time Dependent Hierarchy feature in the Entity dimension.
I ran eliminations for 2015.01 and then created a new version of the Entity hierarchy effective 02/01/2015. When I run eliminations for 2015.02, I was hoping to see the elimination results being posted based on the new Entity hierarchy version, however it still looks at the original hierarchy to post the results. Is there something I am missing? How does the US Elim program know which Entity version to look at, when trying to identify the first common parent of the trading entities? Does it default to the original hierarchy? If yes, how? Is there a way to change this behavior?
